Foreigners are not allowed to own land in Indonesia in their own name but may have a lease.
The buyer of an Artasawa residence has a secure legally documented lease for a period of 40 years from 1 October 2012.
It has already been contracted that at the end of the first 40 years period, a guaranteed lease extension of a further 40 years is available.

If a purchaser is buying an already constructed residence, then the contract agreement is 10% deposit on signing the sale contract with the balance payable on settlement.

If a purchaser is buying a residence which is either under construction or not yet commenced, then the payments are 10% on the signing of the contract, a further 40% once the roof is completed and the balance on completion and settlement.

All residences have a one year property guarantee against any possible construction defects that may occur.
